Building an orphanage

The orphanage project is an essential step towards providing a safe and stable environment for children who have lost one or both parents or who live in difficult family and social circumstances. The home will be more than accommodation: it will be an integrated space for care, education and guidance, helping children continue their studies, develop their abilities and receive the psychological, social and health support they need. It will provide tutoring, cultural and sports activities, and skills-development workshops that build confidence, discipline and social inclusion. A balanced religious guidance programme will also support learning, memorizing and reciting the Qur’an and introduce children to the principles of worship and the Prophet’s life in ways suited to their ages and abilities. This education will help build balanced characters grounded in honesty, integrity, compassion, discipline and respect for others, connecting knowledge with good conduct and service to society. The project will also support widows and vulnerable families by easing some of the burden of care. Through this home, Kafalat Al Yatim seeks to move from occasional assistance to sustainable support that preserves children’s dignity and opens future opportunities. Building the home is a long-term social investment in a more compassionate, stable and resilient community.
